About the Accomodation

Situated on a hilltop above the city of Chania, the three-story Villa Terra Creta features tasteful interiors and five elegantly appointed principal en-suite bedrooms, accommodating up to 10 guests in its standard configuration.

A separate self-contained lower-ground studio is available as supplementary accommodation and may allow the villa to accommodate up to 12 guests in total, subject to prior request, approval and applicable terms.

Villa Terra Creta operates year-round and is equally suited to summer holidays, shorter luxury escapes and longer private stays throughout the seasons. Crete’s mild climate, together with the villa’s fireplace, underfloor heating, private spa, hammam, sauna, gym and heated plunge pool, makes the property particularly attractive during spring, autumn and winter as well as during the summer months. The large outdoor swimming pool with hydromassage can also be heated upon request.

Wood, natural stone and water work together to create a harmonious environment that complements its surroundings — from the green of the pine forest to the blue of the Cretan Sea. Its natural cave and distinctive historic Ottoman-era features are among the property’s most characteristic elements.

Covered and open patios, verandas, pavilions, multiple dining areas, sundecks and poolside lounges can be found throughout the property. A charming stone-built footpath winds through the mature gardens, while the villa enjoys panoramic views of Chania, the Cretan Sea and the White Mountains.

The property has been designed with comfort, privacy and luxury in mind. The five principal bedrooms are distributed across the villa’s three levels, ensuring privacy for guests, while the numerous communal spaces provide generous areas for families and groups to spend time together. These areas are complemented by original artworks and furnishings from the owners’ personal collection.

The amphitheatrical design provides convenient access to the outdoor areas from each level while allowing abundant natural light throughout the property. Air conditioning and underfloor heating further enhance comfort throughout the year.

On the lower-ground level, there is a separate self-contained studio with independent access from the main villa. It includes a functional kitchenette, living and sleeping space and a bathroom with shower, together with an outdoor seating and dining area.

The studio is supplementary to the villa’s five principal bedrooms and may be made available subject to prior request, approval and applicable terms. It can be particularly suitable for accompanying staff or guests seeking additional privacy.

Private celebrations and gatherings may be considered, always subject to prior written approval.
